It’s time for another reading list! Of course I’m still plugging away on my summer list… I’m currently reading Marlena and am really enjoying it. I’m also reading an advanced copy Nurture which comes out in a few weeks. See below for the other titles on my list to read this fall — and here are my previous books lists: here, here and here.
What Happened by Hillary Rodham Clinton: I can’t not read this book, though I worry it may bring back the flood of emotions I dealt with on election night (PS-I hear there’s a chapter about Pant Suit Nation).
The Sun And Her Flowers by Rupi Kaur: When is the last time you read a poetry book? The poem shared in the Amazon excerpt sold me and I can’t wait to read the others.
Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng: This sounds like the kind of novel I’d get lost in and not be able to put down.
Stay With Me by Ayobami Adebavo: A story of marriage, infertility and a secret second wife that examines how much one can sacrifice for family.
Nurture: A Modern Guide To Pregnancy, Birth and Early Motherhood and Trusting Yourself and Body by Erica Chidi Cohen: I’m halfway done this book and love the refreshing take on pregnancy, written by a doula there is definietly more of a focus on the well being of the woman throughout her pregnancy that I haven’t read in other pregnancy and childbirth books.
Sisters by Lily Tuck: This novela takes a dramatic and intense look at marriage, betrayal and secrets.
