So we are now 4 months into our potty training journey and overall I have to say that things are going wonderful for Piper! I’m soooo glad we decided to do it when we did (at 25 1/2 months) because she was definitely ready and now I don’t have to worry about it with a newborn on my hands, too!
Food allergies are no joke – I’ve always known how serious and scary they can be, but after our dairy and soy-free year with Piper I realized just how hard they can be on the entire family. Food allergies have become more and more common with young children in recent years, with more than 6 million suffering from some type of food allergy in the United States!
I’m a big fan of holiday and seasonal books and reading with Piper in general –and it’s a good thing she’s a total book lover, too! We have plenty of Christmas books (see all my top picks here) but only one Thanksgiving book in our collection!

Since starting school in September Piper now LOVES to play with playdough, I didn’t realize quite how much until I gave this to her! The best part is that it smells like FALL and only takes 10 minutes to make.
