On Tuesday I hit 39 weeks and honestly thought this baby girl would be in my arms by now! For 2 weeks I’ve been 3cm dilated and my doctor said she could come “at any day” so I’ve been living anxiously since that appointment which feels like forever ago.
It’s been a while… and now that I’m 37 weeks and officially FULL TERM (crazy!!) I thought I’d share what could be my final pregnancy update for our bebe girl!
My hospital bags are OFFICIALLY packed and I feel so relieved! I’m so paranoid about this bebe girl coming early, I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to get everything in order. I really trimmed down what I’m taking this time — not nearly as much postpartum stuff (i.e. practically nothing since the […]
I recently shared a peek at one of the freezer meals I made last weekend and so many people asked me to share the recipes that I wanted to get this post up ASAP! Today I’m sharing the recipes on my list to make and my strategy for trying to get organized for life with […]
I’m in full nesting mode and as I prepare our house for a new arrival my to-do list keeps growing with more and more things I think of that I want to do. I’m making progress but have only 6 weeks left to cross everything off, eek!
I’m a week behind with my pregnancy updates — and boy am I feeling pregnant. Catch up on how my pregnancy has been thus far! 30 Weeks // 28 Weeks // 24 Weeks // 20 Weeks // 1st Trimester HOW I’M FEELING: Tired and uncomfortable. I’ve been exhausted lately and admittedly have been taking on too much work but need to in […]
I’ve started to spend a lot of time thinking about giving birth again… I considered myself to be pretty educated on childbirth by the time I had Piper but there were still a few things that surprised me about the whole experience of giving birth in a hospital.
Having a healthy pregnancy is every expectant mother’s goal, right? One thing I was so surprised about with my first pregnancy was how educated my OB/GYN assumed I was.
It’s hard to believe it’s almost time for me to start packing my hospital bag, I was so excited to do this with my first pregnancy that I’m pretty sure I already had it done by now! I actually packed 3 bags – I’ll share more on what’s going in my bags this time in […]
I’ve been feeling overwhelmed as my due date becomes closer and closer — not to mention everything I want to accomplish before the holidays begin (shopping, decorating etc.)! The other night I took a few minutes to write out a big, long to-do list and felt so much better after doing so.
30 weeks feels like a HUGE milestone! And a very scary thought….labor is imminent, I actually have to push this child out and my to-do list is miles long. I’m trying to enjoy the last few weeks with Piper as she’s an only child and get all of my work done at the same time.
I’m really excited to share today’s interview with you! I’ve long admired Erica Chidi Cohen’s work — as a birth doula living in L.A., she’s formed a community for mothers and most recently wrote a book and launched her latest venture as co-founder of LOOM.
