As soon as I wrap up our living & dining room design in our new house I’m going to work on Piper’s playroom & nursery update. I already have this colorful rug from Land Of Nod that’s acting as the main element I’ll be designing around. We have a couch that’s being covered in a pale gray/blue cover that will either stay in there or we may get a pull out couch or daybed. I’m also planning to use wallpaper on one wall! The playroom feels like the one space in our house where I can really have fun with color and pattern.

As Piper gets older I know I will want to create an area for her to do art projects and crafts. This playroom maximizes space and wall storage in a clever but eye catching way. I also love how the art is displayed so casually.

We have a little table & chair set that was Austin’s when he was a kid and I’m going to paint it — I really like the idea of colorful chairs with a white table.
