We’ve used three diaper bags in Piper’s 19 months of life. All have served different purposes and now that she’s an active toddler a lightweight, backpack style bag was a necessity. We are using Fawn Design bag right now and I love it — here’s why!
-It’s convertible so I can also throw it over my shoulder just as easily as I can wear it as a backpack
-It has actual backpack straps so it’s EASY to slip on (something that’s been hard for me to find)
-Tons of pockets — and we especially like the two that hold cups up right
-I like the layout inside. There’s one large space and pockets on the side. It’s just the most user-friendly style I’ve tried yet.
One thing I don’t like is that it didn’t come with a changing pad -so I just use one from another diaper bag.
And here’s what’s in our bag at 19 months!
The basics: Water wipes, face wipes, changing mat, diaper cream. A thin swaddle blanket that can go a long way.
Extras: Lotion stick (I love this one from Mustela) and sunscreen.
Eating: I always keep a bar and a pouch in the diaper bag for when hunger strikes. A bib + spoon and empty cup for eating out.
Don’t forget: Trash bag for soiled clothes or diapers in a pinch AND an extra set of clothes.
Stay tuned to my Instagram on Sunday for a special giveaway with Fawn Design!
