Finds + Fails Of The Week!

I’m wearing a non-maternity Target dress &  Bossom Buddy Bag // Piper is wearing an Alice + Ames Dress

Is it just me or did this week fly by? It always seems that way right before vacation when you’re trying to cram in as much work as possible! In 7 days I’ll be on vacation in Maine with my family for a little over a week and I just can’t wait! I haven’t been on an unplugged, no-working vacation with Piper since last summer and I really can’t wait to spend quality time with her.

Here are my finds from the week:

If you didn’t see, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale kicked off yesterday — see all my favorites here.

Storq has the best maternity clothes (I recently got this jumpsuit and have my eye on this dress that you can use when nursing) and they just launched a nursing bra! This time around I’m definietly investing in better and MORE nursing bras.

If you follow me on Instagram you likely saw my trip to my local Westfield Mall in Annapolis to drop off clothes to recycle. Billions of clothes end up in landfills every year so before you start back to school shopping, take a few bags to Westfield (participating malls here) and enjoy a free coffee + discount at participating retailers! Details here.

These unicorn toast recipes look so fun to make with kids!

10 AirB&B’s to book STAT. I’m dreaming of taking a trip to Europe in the spring and renting a place for our family (hopefully I can convince friends to come, too) and I definietly want to try a service like AirB&B.

5 healthy popsicle recipes, I’ve yet to make any popsicles this summer and plan to change that over the weekend!

6 great art activities for kids — perfect for these above 90 degree days on over here.

And my fails this week:

Last week I lamented about my lack of meal planning lately and I hit an all time low when eating frozen fries and chicken nuggets for dinner earlier this week.

We leave for our road trip to Maine in less than a week and I’ve planned close to nothing for our trip – hoping I can get organized this weekend!

This week I had to go to the OBGYN and Austin and Piper came along, I left a glass jar smoothie cup out on Piper’s highchair full of a smoothie she didn’t drink. When we came home, our dog Sullivan had knocked it off, shattering all over the floor and he managed to eat every last drop of smoothie. An emergency trip to the vet later I’ve learned: no more glass kid cups and from now on I’ll always be cleaning the highchair before we leave the house.
