It was an exciting week and I’m so happy to have a work-free weekend ahead! Tonight we are going to our local Greek Festival which is always a fun way to kick off the summer. Tomorrow Piper and I are having a yard sale and more importantly the skylight is being installed in our bathroom (yay)! Sunday we are going to see my best friend’s new house in Virginia. What do you call your grandparents? What do your kids call their grandparents? Piper calls my mom Gigi, a name she came up with and my dad is Pops, but Piper calls him Papa. She calls my inlaws Nana and Pop-Pop. I loved this post by Kelly about grandparent names!

Since I found out I was pregnant I started eating plain bagels with butter in in the morning, for some reason they taste SO good, but now that I’m not feeling sick in the morning I need to start eating some healthier options like this Monkey Porridge!

I’m working on a summer book list for the site — and this is a great list of the best fiction of 2017 (so far). I also just ordered this book, it’s arriving today and I can’t wait to dive in!
