Have you guys heard of fairy bread? It’s been making it’s rounds on the internet for years now but I had forgotten all about it until I had kid, not that it’s only for kids by any means! It’s a sweet treat from Down Under that couldn’t be easier to put together and I thought it would be the perfect treat for Christmas morning to eat while you open gifts, before a big breakfast or brunch! It’s a tradition we’re going to start at our house.
Here’s how you make it:
Let butter sit out so it becomes soft and easy to spread. Use a cookie cutter to cut shapes out of white bread and then spread the softened butter all over the top. Dunk them into a plate of sprinkles so the butter (and bread) is completely covered! Yum.
