For the past 3 years we’ve been having Overnight French Toast for breakfast and it’s the best way to kick off Christmas Day! It’s so indulgent and delicious, and the best part is that you can prep it the night before so all you have to do is pop it into the oven! Piper’s never been into try it and Flora has an egg allergy so the girls happily get cinnamon rolls :)
We’ve tried several different recipes over the years and my favorite continues to be from Half Baked Harvest. What makes this recipe stand out from the others is that it has a delicious, caramelized layer on the bottom that is just SO GOOD and worth the extra steps ! Because I love quiche, I usually pre-make one to also serve along side brown sugar bacon and mimosas. Though I will certainly miss sipping them this year!!
