My Mom Fails + Finds Of The Week

Like most bloggers my life looks pretty picture perfect on Instagram (haha) but we all know that’s far from the case. I thought I’d start incorporating my weekly mom fails in my Friday posts because I know you can all relate. I’d love to hear yours, too!

And now for my mom fails…

• I somehow neglected to sign Piper up for her own dental insurance plan. Open enrollment is over and she’s due for her first appointment so I have some figuring out to do this weekend. Kicking myself for this one!
• When I found out I was having a baby girl I bought Piper a special doll – at the time I didn’t realize she was super tiny but she’s definietly special and sits on the top of her bookshelf. Recently Piper has begun noticing her since she’s obsessed with babies and earlier this week I let her hold her. She fell in love immediately with “special baby” and wouldn’t let me take her away. I hid her a few times throughout the day but come bedtime she cried and cried before falling asleep for ‘special baby’. I felt so bad. She woke up the next morning asking for her! But I replaced her with this little kitty of the similar size that’s doing the trick for now!
