The Post-Partum Essentials I Got From The Nordstrom Sale

27

Jul

It’s a rainy morning here in Maine and I decided to treat myself to some post-partum essentials from the Nordstrom sale. When I was pregnant with Piper I didn’t buy anything for myself to wear post-birth and really wish I had. I ended up picking up a few nursing tank tops at Target and made do with the few cardigans I had around the house. Since I’ll be having our second baby in December I want to be sure to have plenty of cozy, warm sweaters on hand and now is the perfect time to pick up a few pieces for myself. I plan on keeping all of these put away until the baby is born so they are a real treat. And as an FYI – this stuff is selling out, several things sold out from my cart as I was shopping!

And here’s a recap of my other Nordstrom sale posts:

Complete Guide To The Nordstrom Sale HERE

All of my favorite picks for fall HERE.

And – all the basics busy moms need in their wardrobes HERE.

Zella high-waist leggings.

Everyone has been raving about these leggings and I know after I give birth in December I’ll be living in leggings for the next few months so I decided to upgrade from my Target & Old Navy options and try these high-waist leggings from Zella.

Barefoot Dreams Hooded Cardigan

Apparently this is the softest cardigan around and it just seems so perfect for snuggling up with a newborn and great for nursing, too!

Thermal Top

I have this thermal top already and it’s got plenty roomy for nursing! I would size down if you’re worried about it being too big! Note: This shirt is hand-wash only.

Fleece Cardigan

Another easy drapey cardigan that is ideal for lounging around the house but you can also run errands in.

Jogger Pants

I’m in desperate need of a new pair of sweat pants that are appropriate to wear outside the home and these will fit the bill and you can’t beat the price.

Seamless Day Bra

I have a few cheapie nursing bras and I’m going to pick up a few bralettes this time that offer a little more support and have thinner straps (though this wont’ be an issue in the winter, when Piper was an infant all my nursing bras had giant straps and I couldn’t wear any of my tank tops).

Spanx Lounge Bralette

I’ve heard good things about this Spanx bralette and I’m excited to try it out!
