2022 Boo Basket Ideas

Over the last few years I’ve fallen into the “boo basket” trap, feeling as though I need to gift my kids with a bunch of holiday crap we throw away a week later. Think wands, necklaces, kitschy cups and things of that nature. Items frequently found in the Target Dollar Spot or Dollar Tree. This year I’ve been purging and organizing with our home renovation and decided to take a different route…

I’m not going to do holiday PJs anymore, we simply have too many. Instead I’m going to invest in new La Paloma nightgowns (our very favorite for nighties -it’s a small woman owned business with a wonderful quality product) for Christmas.

I’m not doing boo baskets full of junk – instead I’m giving all 3 of my girls one basket of items we can share and use as a family during the Halloween season. I got a Halloween puzzle at HomeGoods, the Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza game and a few new books. I’ll also put the DIY Dollar Store Playdough Kit, and little plastic haunted house I made for them to use with their Polly Pockets.

So – this post isn’t what I’m buying his year but I know a lot of you are looking for these types of products right now, and I do enjoy the hunt :)
