$250 MINTED GIVEAWAY & Our Family Photo Outtakes! !

It’s no secret I love Minted – we used them for our wedding save the dates and birth announcements and several holiday cards over the years. My only gripe is that they have TOO many amazing options to pick from, really it can be overwhelming! You can see my favorite holiday cards for 2016 right here. I love this simple design we ended up going with however I’m kicking myself because I forgot to check FOIL PRESSED! How pretty would these have been with metallic gold accents? Ugh. Next year.

I love this particular design because it’s a postcard. And literally took me one hour to get them addressed and ready to go. We also got postcard stamps with Piper’s photo because I think she’s real cute. I had the design picked out before we took our photos with Anna so we dressed in neutrals and kept the background simple and at sunset since I knew that look would go well with the card. I thought it would be perfect…. until we got to the waterfront park and Piper had a very strong desire to run free and INTO the water (luckily she didn’t). I should have known better than taking her to a new place, she just wanted to explore and wanted NO part of family photos. I had to laugh and share some of the outtakes with you, because a perfectly styled holiday photo is NOT real life with us. Of course Anna managed to get wonderful shots for us to pick from and didn’t make us feel bad for being such difficult clients!
