3 NYE Outfit Ideas

If you’re anything like me you still don’t know what you’re wearing on New Year’s Eve. Albeit this year we have NO plans to speak of and I’ll probably be lounging in my gold sweat pants on the couch with a bottle of bubbly (favorite affordable bottles HERE)  — but every year I always wait until the last minute to find something to wear. I’m sharing three easy outfit ideas in collaboration with AEROSOLES today — I’ll admit Aerosoles isn’t the first brand that comes to mind when thinking of party shoes but how fun are these fringed heels!?

Since I rarely find myself in heels anymore it’s a big requirement that they are comfy — especially if I’ll be standing, dancing and sipping in them all night long. Outfit Idea #1: Your favorite dress — and glitzy shoes — like the Aersoles Interlux. Add faux fur & red lipstick and you’re set. 

I love fake lashes and NYE is the perfect occasion for them — a simply gold eye, black winged liner, falsies & red lipstick is my go-to “party look”.

Outfit Idea #2: Fun top and your favorite jeans — these days I’m all about the flare and they go perfectly with this fun fringe top I picked up on a deep discount from J.Crew. It’s a little big but I’m going to have it tailored so I can wear it more!

Outfit Idea #3: Party skirt & top — bonus if it’s sequins! I’ve had a thing for party skirts long before the brand existed — back when I lived in NYC years ago I had a black satin party skirt (still have it, still wear it!) that I wore for all special occasions. If you don’t have sequins on hand dress up a simple top with jewelry.
