Did you have an advent calendar growing up? We always did and I have the best memories of them. Some years we hung these little cardboard ornaments on a tree – (my parents still set it out) and some years my mom would put 24 treats in our stocking attached to little tabs of paper with numbers. Other years we’d just have a candy filled calendar. I can’t wait to make an advent calendar for Piper next year — I picked a fill-able one up on sale at Target that I’ll be using for her this year though she won’t really understand what’s going on.
