Entertaining: Oscar Viewing Party Made Easy

When Tribe Hummus asked if I wanted to try out some of their new flavors and host an Oscar viewing party I immediately said YES. 

We go through hummus like crazy in our house, so it it seemed like the perfect treat to pair with wine, veggies, crackers and cheese for an easy entertaining idea. I decided to snap a few photos of our spread — and can’t wait to enjoy these eats on Sunday while we watch the Oscars! The new Cocktail Time flavor is so good — now we just have a few movies left to watch before The Academy Awards! We’ve seen Dallas Buyers Club, Gravity, Blue Jasmine and Captain Phillips. I dressed up the spread with a few easy tricks… 

Decanting wine takes a few seconds and instanly makes an impression on guests. 

Removing the hummus from the plastic container is a no-brainer but drizzling it with a little olive oil makes the presentation that much better! 

Stove popped corn gets an upgrade by flavoring it with rosemary, butter and parmesan cheese! 

Keep wine chilled with a cooler — mine is from Crate + Barrel and the best! 

Garnish your cheese with a drizzle of flavored oil and fresh herbs or fruit.
