People always ask “how I do it all” — juggling my job at Glitter Guide, my floral & wedding design business and this blog. With so many new projects, shoots and exciting things in the works I decided it was time to bring on a part-time PAID summer intern, with the hopes that I can find someone who will be able to continue to work with me for years to come.
A little bit about the job: I’m looking for someone LOCAL to the Annapolis area (we live in Severna Park) who is able to work out of my home office at least two times a week (this is key), have a car and able to run errands. Some work can be remote and I’m looking for 10+ hours a week to start with the potential to growing much beyond that. This job will entail helping with all aspects of my career with an emphasis on email organization, admin tasks, event coordination, shoot production and social media. There will also be some personal tasks involved, styling work and flower fun as I grow my floral business.
What I’m looking for: Someone who is extremely organized, dedicated and thorough — and good with follow up. Who can make sure deadlines are met, emails are answered and invoices sent. I’m also really looking for someone who is CREATIVE –up to date on the current trends, style and interior design. It’s also key that you’re familiar with social media, blogging, weddings and understand my style and aesthetic. You must love flowers, iced lattes, perfecting Instagram photos, Pinterest, party planning, photography and of course… rosé! Graphic design skills are a HUGE plus!
