An Easy Thanksgiving Tablescape

Thanksgiving week is here! I can hardly believe it! We usually go spend the holiday in the mountains with Austin’s family, but he has to work this year so we’ll be sticking aroud home with my family. I’m also excited that my cousin who is studying in Chicago is flying in to spend the long weekend with us– should be a fun filled few days. I’ve partnered with Target to bring some fun entertaining ideas to you over the holiday season – starting with this easy tablescape!

Florals: Petal & Print
Target products: Wooden candlesticks, wine decanter, table runner, dish towels (DIY’ed as napkins).

The place settings consisted of my everyday gray dishes topped with a mix of vintage finds from thriftstores. I made napkins out of dish towels I found at Taget that matched my beeswax yellow candles. I printed the placecards on my home printer on vellum from Paper Source and used my vintage silver flatware.

I happened to have the most gorgeous blooms on hand that really took center stage and then I scattered eucalyptus in between brass and wooden candlesticks (available at Target) to give the table an earthy feel.  I love the mix of metal and wood and the contrast of the beeswax yellow tapers and indigo runner (also from Target).

And this decanter with the wooden ball stop fits in perfectly & also makes for a great gift this holiday season.
