Bite Size Floral Cookies

I recently made these little floral treats for a Spring shoot I did for Glitter Guide (you can see the full feature here) and I thought I’d share the simple how-to. I found these pre-made sugar cookies covered in a royal icing type glaze in the bakery department of my local grocery store. They had 4 different colors and I got a pack of pink and orange – I’d never seen them before and think they are a seasonal product. I’m always looking for creative ideas when it comes to baked goods but I don’t have a ton of time to experiment so lately they’ve been going more with the pre-made route, which I don’t mind. It’s simple, really cheap and attainable for anyone! I created a “glue” with powdered sugar and milk and attached an edible flower to each cookie. They lasted several hours before the flowers started to wilt, so I’d advise making them right before you serve them for optimal presentation!
