City Girl’s Guide #4: Always Over Dress in a LBD

Obviously a little black dress is an essential in any closet, no matter where your dwelling is.  I tend to air on the side of over dressing and prefer to stand out- I always say to my friends “people never know where you are going or where you’ve come from” when it comes to “over dressing”. Playing dress up is one of the biggest things I miss about city life and it’s become a part of who I am. A black dress is the easiest and possibly cheapest way to be instantly glamorous & chic. Whether it be tailored and classic piece or modern and trendy. While of course I am all about budget friendly items (the main theme of this blog), there are certain pieces that are definitely worth the investment and will pay off over time.
