Cynthia Rowley

Last week I went to a small party at Cynthia Rowley on King Street here in Charleston. I had a fun time meeting new people, ohhing & ahhing over the racks of gorgeous clothes & I think I found a new bff in the shop manager (she spent the last 10 years in NYC working at Chanel and is also fairly new to the South and she was wearing sequins)! While I didn’t walk away with these perfect sequin shorts (PS- I asked for these for Christmas) I did walk away with a signed copy of Cynthia Rowley’s ‘fantasy memoir’ which I can’t wait to read! It is part memoir, part fiction and has a ton of beautiful illustrations by the designer. If you’re a local to Charleston and like sequins, be sure to stop by Cynthia Rowley (341 King Street) this Friday for the NEST pop up shop!
