December Bucket List

Dec

On December 1st I updated our kitchen bulletin board with our bucket list for the month after being inspired by my friend Val’s beautiful sign. I just printed off the words on cardstock and then attached a piece of craft paper with a thumb tack. Here’s a list of our traditions and a little bit more about some of them!

+Take a drive at night to look at the Christmas lights
+Make holiday cookies (we’ll do this a few times)
+Go through our toys to make room for gifts and donate some. I have the girls fill a bag with toys they think others would enjoy so they can appreciate and understand the meaning of this
+Nutcracker Tea Party: Because of Covid we will miss our annual trip to the ballet and it’s breaking my heart, so I’m planning a fancy tea party at home for the girls and to watch a remote version of the show
+Picnic Under The Tree: This has become a favorite the girls look forward to!! I usually just serve lunch.
+Scavenger Cookie Hunt Snack: We are going to do a scavenger hunt for a few different kinds of Christmas cookies.
+Make ornaments
+Send letters to Santa
+Polar Express Night: Using printables from Magic Playbook to create a memorable night at home watching & reading this classic!
+Make gingerbread houses
+Walk around downtown Annapolis to look at the lights
