Decorating: A Work In Progress

 

The past few weeks I have slowly working on my “room”/”office”/”closet”.  It’s definitely still a work in progress, but it is coming together! I painted a white Trompe l’oeil molding after being inspired by Ellie’s apartment on the Lonny Blog.  I’m still trying to re-finish my auction chair, it needs a cushion & seat and I sewed a pillow for my boring white Ikea desk chair. I’ve long been a fan of strategically placing saucers in my home for all of my “stuff” that I seem to collect, it really helps to contain it and my boyfriend doesn’t complain about it laying around. I recently found a note my parents gave me on my high school graduation and decided it looked perfect framed on my desk. More to come!
