Is the weekend OVER? Mine flew by since I was running around prepping for a photo shoot on Sunday most of the time — so I’m going to try and power down a little early today to catch up on stuff around the house! I love keeping fresh flowers in our home, it’s one of the most inexpensive rituals that brings such joy to my week. I also always try to pick up flowers before I entertain or have guests drop by. I’m currently reaping the rewards from our shoot and have an abundance of arrangements all over the living room!
Here are three easy ways to style a $10 bouquet of roses from the grocery store.
1. Long stems & a tall vase: This may be the easiest option! Just snip the blooms and drop them into a tall vase for a relaxed and easy look.
2. Single stems & bud vase: I like to keep these scattered around the house — just snip a few stems (whatever fits) allowing a few leaves to show.
3. Short stems & round vase: This is my favorite look. I make a grid on the top of the vase with scotch tape and then cut & arrange the stems to create a cluster. The tape holds them up and acts as a guide, a great trick!!
