Entertaining: Easy Fall Tablescape

I’ve been having fun putting together fall entertaining tablescapes with what I have on hand — granted i probably have more on hand than most of you due to my job (and hoarder like tendencies), but today I wanted so share how easy it is to put together a seasonal tabletop without spending a ton of money!
I love getting a few yards of fabric and creating a runner – it’s a cheap way to really change your table. This deep blue batik print has been begging to be used for a while and I thought it paired nicely with the rich berry flowers and velvet ribbon I had. Next I took a trip to Goodwill and looked for small plates in a vintage motif to go ontop of my exisiting dishes — I found exactly what I was looking for and only spent $5!

I simply cut velvet ribbon and hot glued it onto plain kraft paper — then added names with a white pen for an easy placecard.

I deconstructed a $15 bouquet of grocery store blooms into multiple arrangements to go throughout my house and on the table. I kept this one loose and unkempt and love the cabbage flower.

My West Elm gold flatware added the right amount of glam to the table — and the shiny little votives helped too.
