It has been a while since I featured a cocktail so I decided it was about time. I had a bunch of leftover cantaloupe from my photo shoot last weekend that was just begging to be added to a drink. I simply pureed it in my Magic Bullet and added it to my favorite cocktail, The Gin & Tonic. So refreshing, just a little sweet and ideal for summer!
The Melon G&T
1.5 ounces gin
Pureed cantaloupe
Tonic
Cucumber garnish
Combine gin, pureed cantaloupe and ice in a shaker. Pour and strain into glass and top with tonic (use Seltzer or Soda if you prefer your drinks less sweet). Garnish with a fresh slice of cucumber! Cheers!
