It’s taken me a long time to develop my own personal style – after 30 years I think I finally have it down! I definitely gravitate towards feminine, classic pieces that still feel a little fashion forward but aren’t too trendy. Living in my hometown of Annapolis has certainly influenced my style and fashion choices over the years — I wouldn’t consider us a super on-trend city when it comes to the style of most women. We are known more for our nautical feel and preppy look – which I try to incorporate in small ways into my wardrobe.
I’m wearing Old Navy head-to-toe — cropped flares, striped tee, flats & bag.
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while you know that Old Navy is one of my go-to sources to find these pieces that fit with my style- each season I’ll pick out a few on-trend pieces to work into what I already have. I’m so excited (and honored) to have collaborated with one of my favorite stores, Old Navy and People.com on their State Styles campaign… Bloggers from all 50 states are sharing their take on state style .

Fall is my favorite time to shop and I was excited to find the popular cropped denim trend in stores — I paired it with a classic striped top, a nod to nautical and finished the look with feminine pointy flats and a no-fail cross-body bag that’s great for life with a toddler.
