Healthier Hot Chocolate

Last year I started making our own hot chocolate for the most part, it’s so easy and just so much better than the store bought kind! You can also make it much healthier by reducing the sugar! Here’s how we make ours!

Ingredients:
2tbs cocoa powder (higher quality, the better)
2tbs agave nectar (honey, maple syrup, any sweetener works here)
1 cup milk (we use creamy Oat milk)
*Optional: dash of sea salt & cinnamon

Directions:
Over low heat whisk together the cocoa powder and agave nectar until you have a paste. Slowly whisk in milk and heat until hot! Then we still top with all the sugar loaded marshmallows and coconut whip cream!
