A note about my smoothie recipes: None of these recipes are exact – and I don’t think you should really ever be measuring your ingredients precisely for smoothies. Add more of what you like, less of what you don’t and have fun experimenting!
Healthy Piña Colada Smoothie
1 part fresh diced pineaple
1 part frozen mango
1/2 banana
Light coconut milk (no added sugars)
Unsweetened shredded coconut
Combine and blend.
Almond Date Smoothie
2 pitted dates
1 tbs almond butter (no sugar or added salt)
1 banana
Unsweetened vanilla almond milk
Combine and blend. Top with a dash of cinnaomon.
*This is a great afternoon snack or post dinner treat.
Kale Smoothie
1 bunch of chopped kale (ribs discarded)
1 banana
A few pieces of frozen mango
Unsweetened almond milk
Dash of agave or maple syrup
Combine and blend.
