Since we’ve been on a kick to remove the toxic chemicals from our house I knew I wanted to create a deet-free chemical-free bug spray for our family to use this summer. We live near the water so we get a ton of mosquitos and there are also a lot of bugs when we go to Maine and are outdoors a lot! I whipped this up in few minutes using our essential oils and it’s kept us bug free so far! DIY Chemical-Free Bug Spray
4 drops citronella oil
4 drops purification blend oil
4 drops lavender oil
1/4 parts witch hazel
3/4 parts distilled water
Combine oils into the base of a 4oz spray bottle, top with witch hazel and distilled water. Shake before use!
