My Favorite Pins & 4 Things You Didn’t Know About Me

There’s a fun game of tag going around on the blogosphere – and I was tagged by Meg of Wit & Whimsy to share 5 things you don’t know about me. I decided to combine this challenge with My Favorite Pins this week series and share 4 things you don’t know about me.  I’m tagging Lynzy, Kelly, Lacey & Amanda. We are headed off to Ohio today for Easter weekend with the pup in tow. Hope you have a great weekend!

1. I have a serious sweet tooth – and in the past few years have developed a serious weakness for donuts. I don’t know where it came from, maybe the weekends growing up when my dad would venture to Dunkin Donuts and return with a fresh box. I’m determined to try and bake (healthier) versions this spring- like these.

2. I’m really unorganized – I’ve only realized how unorganized until I started working for myself last September. I’m really trying to better organize my time, my things and my priorities — but it’s going to be a long journey. I have so many projects and passions – it’s hard to keep it all in check. I wish my office looked like this, I think it would make it easier to focus and become organized.

3. I love decorating and interior design but often find myself overwhelmed with options and inspiration and paralyzed when it comes to making choices. This also goes for styling tables, outfits, shoots, picking out recipes for dinner etc. I’m trying to learn to go with my gut, pick a place to start and work from there. (image)

4. I share a lot of cocktails on this blog but I love wine and have a glass just about every night. I justify this by saying I have wine in my veins – my grandfather made wine for years, I grew up taking baths in grape bins and my grandmother’s house in Napa Valley is my very favorite place ever. I want to try these golden rims with a spring rosé!
