My Style: Pale Blue Coat

Hello!! Sorry for my unplanned abense from the blogosphere. I just got back from fashion week in New York last night and didn’t have a chance to plan any posts while I was away.

As usual it was a whirlwind of fun in the cold — I made sure to mix in plenty of meals with my girlfriends and even squeezed in an afternoon trip to my favorite Zara store.

Planning and packing for fashion week always stresses me out — since I work from home most days I’m in jeans and sweaters or even sweatpants so putting together a week full of fashionable outfits for day and night is daunting. I’ve been wanting a pastel coat for a while and this light blue one from Zara arrived just in time for my trip. Luckily before I left T.J. Maxx + Marshall’s graciously sent me on a little shopping spree. What I needed most were close toed shoes and boots and I majorly scored! I wore these black designer heels with jeans and also with tights and dresses. Stay tuned to see what other gems I found!
