Wow I’m SO excited to be writing this post! Working on our first home renovation project since buying our house last May was a true labor of love. It wouldn’t have happened without the enduring work and guidance of my dad and we are just so grateful for all that he did. As you can see from the before photos above — we needed a TOTAL renovation. We gutted the entire room, taking out that beautiful bath fitter tub, terracotta tile floor, wall-mounted toilet and huge wall length mirror. I worked with Home Depot’s Decorator’s Collection to bring this makeover together and fell in love with the products we picked and the transformation is so dramatic! Here is my initial moodboard…. I wanted to keep the room neutral so I can have fun with bringing in color with accessories and paint down the line.
I’m sharing the highlights here and you can head over to the Home Depot’s blog to see all of the different changes we made to the space (the tube skylight is one of my favorite parts — it lets in SO much light). Some of my favorite design elements are the tub to ceiling subway tile, hexagon marble floor tiles and combination of wood and matte gold fixtures. Really those faucets from Kohler are a dream!
