If you’ve glanced at Glitter Guide today you may notice our new bedroom is making an appearance in a post I worked on about sleeping better. We moved into our new house one month ago this week — which is hard to believe. If I don’t decorate right away when I move to a new place I have a tendency to put it off for months and months and with the busy (short!!) time leading up to the arrival of our baby in July I knew I wanted our bedroom done ASAP. After all I’m going to be needing a relaxing retreat to catch the few zzz’s I can pretty soon! This room is the most color void space I think I’ve ever created but I can’t say how much I love waking up in this room every morning! It still needs some work (like a bed skirt!) but for the time being it’s perfect.
Most of our bedroom products are from Target — it’s hard to beat the price for style and quality and we’ve been really happy with everything so far- including the headboard we got last year. I also recently spent hours getting lost on Minted looking for new artwork for our home and picked out a few pieces to hang above our bed. Minted offers framing which in retrospect I should have done but I used Ikea frames I already had.
