I’m excited to finally share a peek at the transformation that’s been happening down in our lower level! We have a split-level home so our ‘basement’ is half above ground and gets some natural light. It’s where our playroom, guest room, office, laundry room, full bath & storage room are. I’ve slowly been renovating the space over the last year, basically re-doing everything! We ripped up the nasty old carpet and had luxury vinyl plank flooring installed which has made a huge difference! We had the small kitchen demoed and replaced with a laundry room (that’s almost done)!
I also installed peel & stick wallpaper from Love vs. Design that made the biggest transformation downstairs! I could not be more happy about how it turned out! Love vs. Design lets you customize all of their patterns with any color combination you can dream of. I ordered a few different samples and then Love vs. Design gifted me the wallpaper for our basement. I was soooo overwhelmed with their options, it took me a few weeks to make a choice but I love where we landed! The wallpaper really brightens up the space!
In case you need a reminder….here is the before!
Installation was pretty smooth once i got into a rhythm but required quite a bit of cutting and patience due to all the odd size wall portions I had to cover. The new baseboards really complete the update! I ended up going with the Hellebore Chintz in Fauna, Spruce, Wheat & White.
Another big transformation was installing a custom desk that I designed! I am so in love with how it turned out! I’m not quite ready for a full reveal – I’m still figuring out lighting and a rug for the space but wanted to share this peek with my gorgeous new Serena & Lily Shore Dining Chair! It warms up the room and I love the natural element it brings to the space. The floral ‘Deauville- Coastal Blue’ cushion is my favorite part! I also ordered the Deavuille print wallpaper for Alice’s room!
*Serena & Lily provided me with a gift card for a portion of my chair.
