Spring Style Guide

This post has been a long time coming! I originally planned to do an Amazon capsule wardrobe for the season but quickly threw that idea out the window. I want to be able to share what I’m actually wearing and I’ve made some investment purchases from other retailers this year. Putting this guide together really allowed me to eliminate pieces from my plan (i.e. return) when I realized I had no way to style them. I often buy a piece without thinking it through just because I love it. This is why my wardrobe is full of beautiful pieces but I often feel stuck with ‘nothing to wear’. Because none of it works together!

So without further ado, here are the core pieces of my spring wardrobe and how I plan to style them. I honestly did this for myself, I’ve long wanted a guide for getting dressed since I have maybe 5 minutes in my closet each morning. Now I have an entire roadmap for the season and can’t wait to love what I’m wearing. Next week I’ll be sharing photos of myself wearing some of these outfits and an athleisure style guide for spring!

You can shop most items right here but I’ve detailed everything below each image! Be sure to follow me on LTK where I’ll be sharing my outfit photos all season.

Cream Jeans: These Pistola jeans fit like a glove, they are stretchy and forgiving and the perfect cream color.

Butter Yellow Bag: This is a very affordable way to wear the yellow trend. The perfect polished bag!

Gold Necklace: This is from Target and I wear it non-stop!

Gold Earrings: These are an Amazon winner and a staple in my wardrobe year round. I just added the silver pair to my cart.

Denim Flats: These are so comfortable, I suggest sizing down.

Denim Shacket: Mine is from a local store, available here and this one is Walmart!

Tan Mini Tote: This is small but I love it oh so much!

Madewell Pointy Woven Flats: These are the perfect dark brown and I love the shape. I suggest sizing down as they stretch out!

Denim Shell Tank: I tried a few before landing on this Gap option for my wardrobe. I love the color and the price point is right.

Oversized Oxford Button Up: This J.Crew shirt is a classic staple that I know I’ll be wearing for years to come. I sized down to a small. (Currently on sale)

The color of the season! I added just a touch of it to my wardrobe with this Alex Mill cardigan. It’s the perfect weight for spring and such great quality. There is a similar look on Amazon here!

Other items pictured: Camel Woven Flats // Pistola Jeans // Sunglasses // Silver Earrings // Straw Bag // Mesh Espadrilles// Cream Woven Flats // White Skirt // Denim Skort // Mother Denim Jeans // Blue Oxford Button Up

These Julia Amory Babe Pants were a splurge but they’ve been on my wish list for a while. I can’t wait to wear them all spring and I think they will be great for travel! Most other items are all linked above! Others: Quince Navy Cotton Sweater (size down) // Straw Bag With Black Handle // Larroude Sandals

The shell top is such a trend this season and I’m here for it! I ordered a few styles before landing on this option from Gap. It’s the perfect denim shade, not too dark and not too light and goes with everything! Other items not linked above: Denim Shorts (these are a big Amazon win) and Canvas Tote.

I couldn’t put together a styling guide without including a striped top. I love the fit of this navy and white tee from Walmart and it’s only $8.

Black & White Gingham: I got this last year and it’s such a good staple.
White Eyelet: This Amazon winner is gorgeous, it also comes in blue! It’s unlined so I wear this slip under.
Black Swing Dress: This is short but it works – I’ll be wearing it non-stop.
Skirt Set: Size down here, this is so pretty but you do need a slip under the skirt.
