Toddler Friendly Valentine’s Day Bracelets & Necklaces

I was inspired by this necklace tutorial I had saved forever ago from Art Bar to make some Valentine’s Day necklaces with Piper. The beads we used are fairly small and are definietly a choking hazard for younger children, so please use your best judgement!

We had SO MUCH FUN making these together. I love when projects are equally as enjoyable for me as they are for Piper :) We made necklaces for us and then pipe cleaner bracelets for all of her cousins & friends. And… necklaces for her dolls! She really enjoyed stringing the beads on the pipe cleaners, and it’s a great way to practice stringing before using actual string.

I picked up kid-friendly threading needles in the kids section at Michael’s that we used for the larger beads (it was too thick to fit through the smaller ones) and also to string on the cardboard hearts that we painted.

I ordered printable Valetine’s from The Ever Co for us to decorate this year and they make the perfect tags for the little bracelets.

We picked out all the beads up at Michael’s and they were really reasonable /on-sale.
