Travels: My Trip With A Traverse

If you follow me on Instagram you may have noticed I’ve been driving a Chevy Traverse around for the past week thanks to District Drive. I’m not a huge car person, but I’ve been wanting an SUV for a while to help with my crazy lifestyle (lugging things around for photoshoots, picking up big floral arrangements, packing up for Cin Cin pop-up shops etc).  The Traverse was perfect for us (and Sullivan) and we really felt spoiled. Austin’s family came to visit last weekend and we took a mini-trip up to Frederick, MD in the car.

First we strolled around downtown — most of the shops were still closed because it was early but a tea shop happened to be open and we spent a good 20 minutes learning about (and buying) different loose teas. It was fun! The real reason we went to Frederick was to check out a huge barn sale my friend Christina told me about. I love a good barn sale and this did not dissapoint! We filled up the back of the car with our purchases — see that little side table? Marble top. $20!

Then we headed Cider Works to pick apples + taste cider. It was the best day! Hope you have a great weekend and fill it with some fun.
