Tybee Island, Georgia

I’m prone to planning trips that never happen, but I figured maybe it would inspire others to want to join me if I posted about them on my blog! I hope to make ‘Let’s Get Away’ a weekly series. 

While browsing through my parents Southern Living magazine and seeing their feature on Tybee Island (just 20 minutes off the coast of Savannah) I knew immediately I wanted to add this Southern beach island to my list of places to visit. I would stay in the Mermaid Cottages, visit the light house, rent a bike to ride around the island, enjoy the southern atmosphere and eat delish seafood.
