Valentine’s Day Love Notes Box

16

Jan

This year we started a new Valentine’s Day tradition that I’m really excited about! I dressed up a plain paper mache mailbox and have it out for the girls to write love notes for our family members all month. On Valentine’s Day we will have fun opening them! Piper loooooves making cards for us, so she’s especially excited about this!

Supplies:
Paper Mache Mail Box
Acrylic Paint
Mod Podge
Letter Stickers
Tissue Paper (these are the colors I used)
Pipe Cleaners
Hot Glue Gun

Directions:
There are no real directions here, just have fun decorating your mailbox with or without your kids!

I gave mine a coat of acrylic paint – let it dry over night and then the next day I added on tissue paper stripes with Mod Podge. I used a hot glue gun to adhere pipe cleaners around the edge and a felt heart to the front. And then I used little stickers to spell out ‘love notes’. It was really fun to work on as a solo craft project for myself and now the girls are having a lot of fun with it, too!
