Wedding Wednesday: Winter Engagement Party Inspiration

I’m excited to kick off a new weekly series here on Style Within Reach — you guessed it, wedding planning! Hopefully you’ll enjoy this series, as I document my journey from now until my wedding day next year. My goal is to inspire others with my tips on putting together a stylish wedding on a budget. Most of my posts can be related to general entertaining + parties but of course I’ll be wedding focused!! 

So after Austin proposed last Monday I quickly started thinking “Engagement Party”. I had no idea what to do, but knew that I wanted it to be at my parents new home. Then the other day it hit me — something wintery and cozy. Think a champagne bar, hot cocoa, cozy blankets and maybe even a fire with smores.
