After starting 2017 sick I’m even more appreciative of our clean eating plan — although I have been under the weather most of the new year my body is thanking me for all the healthy fuels I’m giving it. I’ve been waking up refreshed and going to sleep content and hope to continue this trend for months to come. I just feel better. I talk about my plan in this post and share some other tips for doing a cleanse — but in short I’ve cut dairy, sugar, white flour and alcohol from my diet. Yes, there have been some cheat meals and on Friday I allow myself wine. Later this week I’ll be sharing my food diary on Glitter Guide and today I’ve listed out all the recipes and meal ideas that we’ve been eating.
Breakfast:
Overnight Oatmeal
Avocado Toast
Hard Boiled Eggs
Ezekial Toast With Almond Butter
Green Smoothie
Lunch:
Healing Turmeric Bowls
Roasted Chickpeas & Cauliflower
Detox Moroccan Spiced Chickpea Glow Bowl (A little spicy, but so good! Just sub the yogurt for hummus)
Mexican Quinoa (add chicken)
Dinner:
Chicken Fried Rice (Use brown rice + add extra veggies)
Creamy White Bean & Tomato Soup
Creamy Thai Sweet Potato Curry
Shrimp, Snow Pea & Ginger Stir Fry
Vegan Mac & Cheese With Spinach (Use brown rice pasta)
Healing Soup With Turmeric, Faro & Lentil (this is so good we’ve made it twice already)
White Bean Soup With Bacon (use vegan butter)
