Best Drugstore Buys Of 2015

A little late, but better than never! Below are Melissa and my favorite drugstore products from 2015. While I love to splurge on beauty (especially when it comes to skincare) — I can’t deny trying out drugstore products every month.

L’Oreal Paris Voluminous Superstar Mascara: This two part system thickens and adds noticeable length without looking clumpy as some other mascaras with primer do.

L’Oreal Paris Advanced Hair Care Line Shampoo: We’ve tried a lot of different products in this range and love them all — they leave hair silky and manageable.

eos Body Lotion: I’ve long been a fan of eos lip balm and the body lotion does not disappoint!

Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturizer: While I usually avoid aerosol products I got this as a sample and fell in love with it’s ease of use. I keep it in the bathroom and spray it on as soon as I get out of the shower as sometimes I’m too lazy to apply lotion to my whole body – this makes it easy!

Yes To Grapefruit Spray Minimizing Toner: This is the perfect toner for someone who is too lazy in the morning (i.e. ME) to deal much — it also doesn’t

L’Oreal Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm: This at-home deeping conditioning treatment is truly amazing. I use it about once every 2 weeks or so and it does wonders for my hair leaving it soft, shiny, and healthy looking. -M

Maybelline BB Skin Perfector: This foundation type cream is the best. A little bit goes a long way! I have been using it on my face areas that are prone to redness such as my chin and nose- it stays on all day and doesn’t feel heavy whatsoever! It’s also SPF 30 which is a major win- staying safe in the sun is key for skin health + beauty.

Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Powder: I keep this powder close by on days where my face is a little oily. It’s light, but conceals shine and goes on smoothly.

TreSemme Dry Shampoo: I don’t like to wash my hair more than every 2-3 days, but I love to work out which makes for an oily hair combination. Yikes! That is where this dry shampoo comes in- I cannot say it’s a life saver enough! I spray it on my roots in the oil-prone spots and it soaks it right up!

Biosilk Silk Therapy Original: This serum is great to apply after you blow-dry your hair. It leaves hair feeling soft and silky. I only apply it to the ‘ponytail’ section of my hair and not the roots.
