Today I’m sharing a list of black owned businesses I’ve compiled, it’s one small way we can support the black community right now. I would LOVE to add to this list, please feel free to leave a comment or send me a message and I’ll update it!
The Honey Pot: So many of you suggested this new plant & herb based feminine care brand (it’s sold directly on their website and at Target). Can’t wait to try it out! I hear they have great postpartum pads which I’ll be needing in a week !
Clare Paint: I’ve been emailing with this new paint brand about a collaboration that I hope to bring to life this summer, and have followed the found Nicole Gibbons for years. Clare has the most beautiful colored paint and a fresh business model that’s shaking up the paint industry.
Kido Chicago: Another account I’ve followed for a while on Instagram, Kido is a Chicago based store (you can shop online or do curbside pick up right now) full of beautiful children’s toys and diverse books.
Harperiman Dolls: The most beautiful handmade dolls!
Black Baby Books: Making it easier to find books featuring black characters.
Puzzle Huddle: Children’s puzzles featuring diverse characters.
Little Likes Kids: Another amazing option for puzzles AND games featuring diversity.
Le Petit Elle: The most gorgeous organic clothes and bows for little girls. I am so sad the purple dress is sold out in Piper’s size because it would be the most perfect birthday dress for her!
Alaffia: I discovered this clean, fair-trade brand when I was pregnant with Flora while searching for clean beauty products. I love their bodywash and I’m excited to try out the kids line. I just ordered hand soaps and body wash for my kids.
Pretty Please Teethers: These are the prettiest teethers, pacifier clips & teething lovies I have seen!! Natural and handmade. Just ordered one for baby #3 :)
The Daily Yay: Cuuuuute handmade garlands, party hats and more!
Pur Home: Natural, eco-friendly options for cleaning your home.
Post21Shop: A collection of curated products from makers of color.
Nora Madison: Adorable graphic tees!
