It wasn’t until a friend mentioned she picked up a new shirt that was great for nursing during my 8th month of pregnancy, until I thought about how I had not even assessed my wardrobe for clothes I’d be able to nurse in! There’s plenty of other things to be worrying about before the baby arrives — sure I had a few nursing tanks but I hadn’t thought about shirts/dresses that I could actually wear out somewhere! I picked up two before Piper was born and in the past year have been slowly growing my collection of button up options that allow me to nurse in public.
LOFT Peplum Henley ($44.50) is so pretty, I love the little peplum waist… and this LOFT Pocket Tank is practical too!
Goodnight Macaroon Peter Pan Collar Top ($59)
H&M has this light blouse in several patterns and you can’t beat the $9.99 price tag!
Gap Linen Blouse ($44.95)
By far, my favorite nursing top is The Longsleeve Tee ($98) from HATCH Collection. It’s not intended for nursing but it’s so big and billowy that it almost acts as a nursing cover. I wear it at least once a week and am thinking about getting another one since it’s so versatile and comfortable!
This flouncy top would be perfect for hot summer days ($48)
