I’ll admit I’m pretty lazy when it comes to cleaning my makeup brushes but I’m trying to get better at it. After looking up a dozen different methods for cleaning your brushes naturally I came up with a combo that works well for me.
1. Gently dip your brushes in a small bowl of oil (I used almond oil), just enough to cover the tips. Dry brush as much makeup off as you can remove on a paper towel.
2. Next, swirl your brush around in a natural cleanser (like Dr.Bronner’s) mixed with water like and rinse under water until it is clean.
3. Dip brushes in a small bowl of white vinegar to sanitize them.
4. Ring out as much moisture as you can from the brushes and lay flat to dry.
