The past 3 weeks have been really hard on me physically and emotionally and I’ve tried to not let it show to Piper but I’m sure she’s picked up on it. I know my patience has been worn thin and I feel so guilty. My fails are a plenty…. but I’m hoping that next week things will be somewhat back to normal in our house now. I took on way too much in March + April. Our bedroom renovation is complete (see it here) and our bathroom is so close and I have no overnight trips in sight for the next few months (wohoo)!! I also have a break with weddings for a few weeks!
I’ve been letting Piper play with my phone way too much the past two weeks, previously she was only allowed to look at it if we were traveling, in the car or in a more desperate situation than sitting on the couch.
I haven’t planned any arts or crafts projects for Piper in over a month, and she loves it so much. Hoping to do some with her Saturday afternoon after her nap.
Forgot to change Piper’s crib sheets two weeks in a row, woooooops!
Tonight I’m going out to dinner for a long overdue date with my girlfriends, Saturday I’m taking Piper to a farm and Sunday I can’t wait to spend Mother’s Day with my family!
