For the past few months I’ve been working on my office with Havenly — the online interior design service which matches you with a designer to help you customize and shop for your space. I shared my initial inspiration and the two different design ideas that Shelby, my interior designer came up with here. I am so pleased with how everything turned out and very excited to share these images of the final space.
Working with Havenly couldn’t have been an easier, more fluid experience. Everything is done online and around your schedule which is convenient, and it’s affordable ($185/room). Shelby really worked to create a functional room with items I already owned and of course we brought in a few new pieces too, in order to create a calm, neutral office that leaves me inspired to work every day. After we decided on a look for the room Shelby began adding products to my shopping list through the online Havenly portal which I was able to write notes back to her about or directly purchase.

I love my console, it does a great job at storing a lot of unsightly stuff thanks to the help of baskets and boxes that I’ve collected from Homegoods. The laminate wood on top is a dreamy light gray/taupe color and also comes in handy for my many photoshoots — and it’s only $215! I change my pinboards out every few months and I’ll be sharing how I made them (takes 20 minutes!) soon.
I’ve been eyeing these bistro chairs from Serena & Lily for a while and they fit perfectly with the office design! The Apt2B table can be pushed towards the window to make more space in the office for photo shoots or if we have guests over, since my office is right off the main foyer to our home. It was important to me to create a space that didn’t scream “home office” since it’s in such a visible spot and Shelby did a great job in doing just that.
My in-laws gave me the filing cabinets a few years ago and I gave them a coat of chalk paint in an a light aqua to give them a new life. The bentwood chair& mirror are vintage picked up at The Barn Show (if you’re local, you can’t miss it!). I’ve had this Bunny Williams lamp for a few years tucked away in our guest room and I’m so glad it has a home out in the open for everyone to see it now!
