It’s a big day, guys! After months and months of waiting and hard work before that our bathroom renovation is live on Glitter Guide today! Glitter Guide collaborated with Kohler to bring this makeover to life who generously supplied our vanity, faucets, shower door and toilet as part of the partnership. This was our second big renovation project in our house (we bought our first home in May of 2016) after we completed our hall bath in December (see that renovation here & on PopSugar here with a few updates).
The bathrooms in our house were in horrible condition when we moved in and I was itching to start on them ASAP. I don’t think they’d ever been updated since the house was built in the 1970’s — you can see the scary before photos in the Glitter Guide post.
The major changes
We removed the bath tub and instead replaced it with a bright and airy shower (it’s so luxurious taking a shower in here now!), installed cement tile on the floor, had a tube skylight installed (this was the most dramatic difference, its now FULL of natural light) and added built in shelves from what was part of our closet space so we actually have STORAGE!
