Today I’m so excited to share a sneak peek of tour playroom makeover with you! I’m so in love with how this room turned out! I partnered with Havenly to help design the space and I have to admit I’m a little sad that in a few months we’ll be transforming the room yet again, into a nursery! The full reveal will be up on Glitter Guide this Thursday but I wanted to share a few images today because our Chasing Paper x Rebecca Atwood wallpaper is only available until the end of the week!
Here are the few changes we made that had a big impact:
-Removed the existing shelves with baskets and instead installed a toy cabinet
-Replaced the gallery wall with wallpaper + a mirror
-Replaced the chairs on Piper’s table
-Got a new rug
-Hung shelves for the art corner
The result was everything I wanted for the space — a bright, cheery and colorful room for Piper to play and create.
When I set eyes on the wallpaper from the Rebecca Atwood collection for Chasing Paper I knew I had to incorporate it into our house some way and the playroom proved to be the perfect place! I love all the patterns from her collection and highly suggest snagging one if you’re in the market for wallpaper before they are gone!
Here’s a before of the toy wall — no organization what so ever!
Now thanks to these giant storage shelves there’s a spot for every toy, book and puzzle. Clean up time is much easier!
Here’s a before of the rest of the room:
